On day 1, we will take care of your transfer from the airport. Our private driver will be there waiting for you. The driver will drop you at your first boutique hotel right in the heart of Lima. We will all meet at 3:00 p.m in the lobby, where our host will welcome us. Then we’ll start with a Pisco Sour and a Ceviche class to make an immediate immersion in the Peruvian culture. After this appetizer, we’ll have a typical Peruvian dinner all together! You got it? On day 1, no rush, only discovering, biting, and devouring the exquisite Peruvian food.

Day 2 : Visit of the vibrant lima
On day 2, our host will show us around Lima. We’ll discover the main square and the historical center; we’ll cruise a local fruit market and have a fantastic view of the ocean at “El parquet del Amor”. Then, we will have free time to explore by ourselves or with our new Explorogist travel buddies. Let’s wander around the beach, have a small heritage tour, or even try one of the top ten gastronomical restaurants worldwide.
Day 3 : Visit of Visit of Arequipa, the amazing white cité
Wake up, Explorogist! On day 3, we’ll check out around 9:00 a.m, and we’ll fly from Lima to Arequipa. No rush today, we’re already at 2.300 meters above sea level. Our objective? Acclimatation! Do not hesitate to drink typical coca leaves tea… we’re only halfway from the peak we’ll reach in a few days. We’ll have a small visit to the city center; then we’ll have free time to wander in the small alleys of this ex-colonial wonderful city. For the most courageous, we could try to survive to the typical Arequipian dish “El Recotto relleno”. Be careful; it’s hot!
Day 4 : The Colca canyon, one of the deepest in the world
On Day 4, take a deep breath, we’ll leave Arequipa around 8:30 a.m, and we’ll start our two days expedition in one of the deepest canyons in the world. Today’s program is about coca-leaves chewing, famous volcanos admiring, 2 hours trekking, and open-air natural thermal bathing. Let’s make the most of this breathless landscape. For the night, we’ll stay in one of the best boutique hotels in the country, and we’ll enjoy a traditional open-air barbecue!

It’s already day 5, Explorogist… But don’t panic: incredible experiences are taking shape. We’ll have an early breakfast and drive to the “Cruz del condor”, where we should spot flying condors, the biggest bird of prey. They usually fly very close form the viewpoint: fingers crossed! In the afternoon, we’ll visit some pre-inka tombs, and have a nice walk in a cactus area. We’ll reach Arequipa around 5:00 p.m where we’ll have free time to relax.

On day 8, we’ll visit the sacred valley by bike. It’s a fantastic way to cruise gently in this stunning place. It’s also the perfect way to feel that inviolable atmosphere that prevails here! We’ll spend the night in our luxury boutique hotel in the middle of the valley.

Day 9 : on our way to Machu Pichu
On Day 9, we’ll take the train in the morning and head to Aguas Caliente, a small village next to the famous Machu Picchu.
